The growth of new domains registered in the ID-TLD shows quite a high increase. However in 2001 the number of new domains decreased, compare to the year 2000.

According to cc-TLD-ID maintainer (country code - Top Level Domain Indonesia) - the decrease in new domain request in 2001 happened not only in Indonesia and it is assumed that the reason was the global decrease in dotcom business.

The number of IP Addresses allocated for Indonesian Internet was also growing as shown in the table below :

If we look at the MRTG (Multi Router Traffic Graph) Reports maintained by IIX Administrator, we can then conclude that since the past year there has been a very high increase in the national internet traffic.

** Wireless & Internet Licence for Education and Research (IPTEKNET)

Not all companies having obtained the licence register themselves as APJII member. The companies registered as APJII member are mainly those who need services or privileges as APJII member such as IP Address allocation and connection to the Indonesia Internet Exchange (IIX). The status of registered members at APJII up to now is shown in the table below :

There are damaging internet activities such as Spam, Abuse, and Fraud. Starting October 2002 through abuse@apjii.or.id, APJII has been collecting the data of these activities as shown in the table below :

Reports were responded by all parts towards all the reports coming in.
Network Incident
New Categoty (valid since 01 Oct 2003) : Activities those are done towards somenone's network and all activities including misuse of networks. Previously, this category was called by Abuse Network.
Open Proxy
New Category (valid since 01 Oct 2003) : Spam activities those are done by exploiting the weakness of systems.
Fraud
Fraudulence of credit cards.
