The growth of new domains registered in the ID-TLD shows quite a high
increase. However in 2001 the number of new domains decreased, compare
to the year 2000.

According to cc-TLD-ID maintainer (country code - Top
Level Domain Indonesia) - the decrease in new domain request in 2001
happened not only in Indonesia and it is assumed that the reason was
the global decrease in dotcom business.
The number of IP Addresses allocated for Indonesian
Internet was also growing as shown in the table below :

Not all companies having obtained the licence register
themselves as APJII member. The companies registered as APJII member
are mainly those who need services or privileges as APJII member such
as IP Address allocation and connection to the Indonesia Internet Exchange
